1XAAA Drop Back From High Power

I just read tonight that the 2014 Fenix E05 drops back from high power to medium power after 3 minutes as does the LD02. Do all the 85-100L 1XAAA lights automatically drop back from high power after a short time? How about the Klarus Mi10 for example? I understand the concerns about current draw and heat generation but I'd prefer to control the light's power manually.
