Pelican 7060 Upgrade

I seem to recall reading something about a Pelican 7060 upgrade, but I can't seem to find it now when I search for it. Has anybody here done an upgrade and, if so, is it worthwhile?

I'm not a fan of the "More lumens the better" mindset. However, the 7060 is a dinosaur. Unfortunately, I thought there was a thread where someone tried modding it, but the LED is sealed into the light, and not reachable for a swap.
