Stripped out the housing on my M952v. I know the original is legitimately a surefire. I contacted surefire sent them the unit and they confirmed it. I did this because I bought it from a guy for 220 dollars. So I know the put together light is legit. As you can see in the pic. On The replacement housing the logo is slightly different. Does this mean the housing I got is a fake? If it is I'll be very unhappy at the seller. Or does surefire use a little different shaped letters sometimes.
