So this morning I was shopping on eBay for a copper flashlight. And I ran across the county comm maratac triple AAA copper flashlight but there was something wrong the price was 5 times the normal price and 41 dollars and some change the price was almost $200. so I sent the seller a message asking why the price was 5 times a normal MSRP price, and he responded with five messages explaining how the FBI was contacted for harassment and I was reported to eBay lol that's all I asked and I was I was thinking I'd get a response you know Steven got a special driver in it or its got a different than what standard but know this person is officially a @$## psycho.

Okay here is the screenshots keep in mind my username ID toatsma-goats.

I'm convinced he's just another newbie seller who got butthurt because you called his bs.

How is the original listing BS? It is a high price...but if someone is dumb enough to pay it, good for him! The response is completely off the wall, though, we can agree on that. A lot of people seem to think that interspersing a couple legal terms suddenly makes a worthless argument valid, so it is hardly unique...but that escalated quickly.

Interesting. These keep popping up for me, too, when I search for "vintage copper flashlight." I'm actually looking for 1930's-40's vintage copper Rayovacs. I guess I need to be more specific in my searches. :D

good heavens... I was afraid that this was a story about a murder-suicide.

People do dumb things on e-bay, in casinos, etc. If I was a psychiatrist instead of an engineer, maybe I could tell you why. It does seem that the manufacturer of the light needs to do a better job of marketing their light, so people can find it at a regular retailer when they do a web search.

on the other hand, it *is* made of copper, and it's sooo shiny!! How much money do I have? :)
