Mac's Customs EDC SST-50, Aluminum body, no pocket clip and no holes drilled for one, uses IMR16340 batteries only (the pictured one is included and has only a few charge cycles on it). It's a 3 mode, low-med-2400mah high, with last mode memory and a neutral (4500k) emitter.

I am the original owner of this limited (only 20) second run of this famous light. This has been a safe queen since I got it and never carried but it may have a few nearly undetectable surface scratches, but nothing detracting in my opinion, 99/100 condition. First I'll take it followed by a PM gets it. Paypal only. Asking $350.00 shipped CONUS. Thanks for looking!

Congrats on this one!

Thanks Nicrod! Thanks also for all your modding advice for my recently acquired Mac tri-EDC which is now in SOYCD's hands for a special treatment (led and driver swap plus stone wash)
This SST-50 will stay as is, 4500k is just spot on!

Nice! I cant wait to see it when it comes back home.

My Ti Tri is Begging me to go to Sean's house.
I want the same stuff. LED swap, and Stone-washing.

What emitters did did you decide on?

Received the SS-T last night and it looks like it's fresh from Mac's lathe.. Absolutely pristine as promised. It came here in no time. Thanks Sed6! Not sure what emitter is in but it does not look like 4500k to me. It's too cool/blue for my tastes so this one is going on a trip East today and will pay a visit to SOYCD (Shine on You Crazy Diamond)
Sean already has my tri-EDC (the tri is getting xp-L 4000k and FET based driver that uses a AMC7135 chip for the low drive modes for more stability). Not sure yet what treatment will this SS-T get..

Here is a photo of beamshots, on the left is the sst-50 and right is my Alpha RM MCE that jason rates at 4500k. Of course Alpha has a lot more oomph but you can see the tint is clearly not a 4500K
Left beamshot does not appear that blue in reality but pretty close

next beamshot is SST-50 on the left, Haiku Nichia 219a on the right. Actually color rendition is pretty close..

This is an excuse for you to swap it for an XML2! :D
That's what my EDC has, and it's BRIGHT!

Nice beamshots. Remember, I wanna see that Tri EDC the second it returns home.

Nicrod, you're right it will likely get an XML2! Sure thing I'll post the tri EDC once SOYCD has returned it to me, sand blasted and modded.

PHOTOS!! as promised.. here they are back from Shine on You Crazy Diamond

The Tri-EDC is stunning, it looks so good it's hard to tell it's aluminium!!! It's bright, mean looking, pure Mac awesomeness mixed with all the modern amenities/ emitter and driver upgrades and that finish mmmmh, stonewashed to perfection!
The SST-50 did not get any upgrades, we could not find an emitter with warmer tint so it is as received - it is just too good looking to carry around anyway
