Anyone had any success getting anything for computer scrap?
I have a bunch of computers and servers along with hard drives and some laptops

You can get gold from memory boards, they're videos on YouTube that show you how.

Your best bet is to strip all aluminum & copper, & scrap those locally, then try and sell the boards as "gold recovery" on ebay. Stripped motherboards can go for $1 - $5 per pound, RAM can go from $3 - $15 per pound, organic CPU's can go for up to $12 per pound, & ceramic CPU's can go for up to $25 each with pins intact.

You can recover gold yourself, but if you don't already have the equipment & chemicals, you're in for a world of hurt in start-up costs.

Always give away my old computer junk to a local church. I need more than candy bar money for hauling it across town, prefer the idea of some folks who would otherwise not be able to get online getting some use out of it.
