They have to put out something since the SF hammer came down and crippled Quark.

That said I think this is an awesome idea. But Im still waiting to see those 4Sevens + PK lights!!!

They released the bolt action which was kinda cool, I have a feeling David has a few brainchildren in the pipeline for a serious comeback post Quark.

Nice looking EXCEPT that RED boot cover! Minor adjustment.BLACK would look good w/ brass!

Hmm, I don't know. The red does seem out of place but it fits in with the red o-ring on the lens. That's a hard one to pair I think.

Probably only a prototype but does the micro USB port look like half of it has been pushed in too far?

The Mini looks sharp in brass. Along the lines of the titanium version, but with hopefully smoother threads.

How about brass versions of the Atom series? Improving on the heat transfer versus stainless steel would be a good thing, especially on small lights like the Atoms where the weight increase won't be that significant.

Also, a brass Preon P2 would be cool EDC for office-working types.

Looking forward to hearing more about these lights. Subscribed :)

I'm hoping copper will come next (with 219B of course). :)

Is brass lighter than copper?

They are on sale. Big price bump. Cool white only. That last point (and the fact that modding a mini is iffy for me because they are usually well glued) will make me pass.

Having that LED drop down box without any options...such a tease

Strange why they are only offering it in cool white. I know 4sevens has a thing about offering anything else, but if they're going for brass and double the price of the aluminum version, you'd think that would appeal to flashaholics that generally like a tint choice.

I can understand their motivation for cool white in their normal runs. It sells well to the masses. But do brass lights at double the price still appeal to the masses? Why not offer a neutral white version???

Re: *NEW* Foursevens Brass Lights

Ok, where were these advertised or announced? There's nothing on the 4sevens manufacturing page, and no notice on their website, no email....

I've noticed this trend for quite a while now with them not announcing sales like they used to.

I know a lot of this is niche market word-of-mouth but it still seems like really bad business practice not to advertise and announce sales and/or new products in a more public way.
