Anyone else got the new Partner C2 or Doberman and tried to remove the strobe as per the manual. .....I cannae do it

Yes, I have the Partner C2 V2 warm.
The instructions fail to mention that the light must be ON for the procedure to work.

Im not having any luck either, also whats weird is that when i tighten loose twice it locks into turbo even when in the head loose mode. Im stumped on what to do. I can get it to flash 4 tumes like its changing sonething but strobe is still there. Anyone else have any luck?
I had a regular Viking v3 that I could not remove the strobe from. I'm not sure if it was defective or not, but I returned it. I've been able to remove the strobe on my Viking Pro, Dobermann Pro, and Barracuda Pro without issue. I think that it might be a defect on non-Pro models.
