SOLD: Eye40vn V2 XML2 PDT - 4600 Lumen OTF & 223,000 cd!
The light is SOLD
I cant get the panjo marketplace to close the listing for some reason!
Up for sale is a piece of unobtanium! (aka its not available anymore)
Its the eye40vn V2!! A compact lumen monster created by our good CPF friend Vinh
Original sales thread/info and beam shots are here: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?385016-WTS-Limited-Run-Eye40vn-V2
This is the "stage 1 package" with "B) $265 XML2 PDTc or any other tint" option.
I have personally measured this lights output in my integration sphere.
Measurements taken on sony vtc5 high drain batteries
4606 Lumen @ turn on
4371 Lumen @ 30 sec
1739 mid
620 mid 2
106 low
Throw - 223,000 lux
This light has seen minimal runtime - honestly its been sitting on my shelf for quite sometime now. Its time to move it along to a good home (plus I am trying to raise funds for a hds)
Light will generate a good amount of heat on the two top modes. If the light gets too hot to hold, throttle it down a click or two to cool off for a few minutes to keep the electronics from overheating. Turbo will get hot in about 2-3 minutes depending on the level of charge of the batteries. Modes 1 and 2 are safe to run unattended. (tailstanding etc)
Included in the sale is the light, attachable handle, car charger (I have never actually used the charger before), instructions, and a nitecore holster. (The light did not originally come with a holster, but I found one that fits!)
High drain IMR or IMR hybrid batteries are REQUIRED for this light to reach maximum output.
FULL disclosure! There are one or two small bits of anno missing - see the photos. Overall the light is in about 95/100 cosmetic condition. Also - the driver does make a slightly audible noise on the two middle modes. I am usually quite sensitive to driver noise myself but it doesn't seem to bother me as its not high pitched or anything. I just wanted to mention this upfront though.
Shipping price is for priority mail to USA only. If you are international and are interested I can get a shipping quote for you. $50 insurance is included - if you require more please let me know and I will get you a quote.
This really is a great light - if it doesn't sell I have no problem keeping it in my collection!
