Nitecore SRT3 and Surefire E series body?

Good morning all,

I don't know if anyone has tried this but will this work? SRT3 head on an E series body. I got a E1B body that lost its head.

Can someone with both lights try this for me? Its going to determine if I get a black version and pair the head with the E1B body or get a grey version and leave it as it.

I have both, and it does not work-threads are different. I read on Another thread that the Sunwayman V11r had the same size threads as the Surefire "E" series, and the V11r head does screw onto the E1B body, but the E1B head only screws on partway on the V11r body. Hope this helps...
