Klarus' website indicates that the MIX6 now comes with the CREE XP-G2 instead of the previous CREE XP-G LED. Apparently, it slightly improved the lumen output with no change in the runtimes on each mode. However, I have not been able to find anywhere that indicates that they sell the updated MIX6 with the XP-G2. All of the product data appears to be for the XP-G. Has anyone purchased one of these lately that definitely had the XP-G2? Have they been selling the XP-G2 version for a while now, but the vendors just haven't updated their product information?
Here is the difference in the specs:
Newer Version with CREE XP-G2
—— 30 lumens (5.7 hours)
—— 4 lumens (66 hours)
—— 100 lumens (70 minutes)
—— Strobe 100 lumens (2.3 hrs)
Older Version with CREE XP-G2
—— 26 Lumens (5.7 hrs)
—— 3 Lumens (66 hrs)
—— 85 Lumens (70 mins)
—— Strobe 85 Lumens (2.3 hrs)
I know it isn't much difference, but I would prefer to get the newer version with the higher lumen-osity. I am leaning towards this Klarus torch based on it's speced 66 hr runtime in low mode and how sveltely it would fit on my keychain.
Thank you,
