Making a Photon II \"covert\"

In order to focus the light more forward, would it be advisable to simply put a material around the outside of the led. Maybe a small strip of paint, or nail polish?

The reason I ask is because I'm assuming the Photon covert, doesn't come in Green or Turchoise. I could be wrong.

That sounds like it would work. Some paint or a small strip of electrical tape.

I simply superglued a small black plastic tube to a Photon II housing and it looks and acts just like a Photon Covert version and the retrofit cost me nothing (I already had the tubing).

The new Photon III Micro Lights do come in a covert version.

Just snip off a little bit of coax cable and pull the guts out. This slips on nicely and works great.
