Looks like it should be bright and tough. I'll be interested to hear more about it.

Cool! I'll see if I can order one tomorrow.

I'm torn between Streamlight's BatonLight, and just using my 2AA Mini Maglite as a kubotan, or palm stick. I like the Lexan Streamlight uses for the lens, but it's 3 times the cost! I'd imagine the light output is similar, but the BatonLight would last a lot longer on it's batteries. Someone needs to break down and get one before I do!

Well I ordered one. It is the same price as a lightwave 2000, but probably smaller and brighter. Also being streamlight I am sure it is well built, but I will let everyone know as soon as it arrives.

I should have guessed it but I got a phone message from Botach today saying they canceled my order because the light wasn't available yet. I had also ordered 2 stylus's and 2 scorpions as x-mas presents, I guess they don't want my business. I will get them somewhere else now. I just don't get it.

Anyway, so has anyone seen the Batonlite listed anywhere else yet?
