I quit eating Dog Treats a few years back. 
Seriously, I remember a while back one manufacture was sued by several folks who's pets died as a result of Salmonella in their foods. I remember thinking how can a dog eat rotten meat, other dog/cat poop and not get sick. I thought their stomachs could kill all that bacteria.
Sad for those that lost their beloved pets.
