hi,

I'm brand new to this.

i have a Fenix pd32 Ultimate edition. it works great with regular cr123 batteries. I just got a NITECORE 3400mah NL189 protected battery and it fits and works. BUT...as soon as i put the battery in and screw the tail cap, the light comes on and the tailcap switch doesn't work.

when i switch back to the regular cr 123's, the switch responds as normal.

can someone help me with this?

Maybe the batterys extra lenght is fully compresing the spring causing it to touch the sides and complete the circuit?

I'm guessing the battery is slightly too long. Can you unscrew the tailcap some to release some tension on the spring to see if the UI works as intended then?
