Are the pd35 and e35 interchangeable

Does anyone know if the battery tube of the fenix pd35 and e35 are interchangeable? I hate clips on my pd35 and when taken off it leaves this deep gap where the clip goes on.

I dislike the clip's fingers tips, they dig into my hands in a tight grip.
So I utilize O ring on outside of lights in some cases like Fenix.
Gives a slightly better cigar grip too. The rings fill in gap nicely IMO.

Hope you find something doable.

I just thought that clip is pretty annoying. I never use it and don't intent on too in the future. Fenix should offer something that replaces that so there wouldn't be this uncomfortable grip when you are holding the light.

I agree it can be, if you pull it off and ring the tube, no need to Lego bodies maybe.

My main gripe is how loose it is,moves around too easy. Both mine are lined up to the mode button and a dab of glue around the inside of clip.................never budge now=

I ground those tabs off with a grinding wheel and then polished them on the buffing wheel. Smooth as silk and looks almost like it was meant to be that way except for a slight silver color at the extreme edge where it was ground/polished.
