Ehhh, if they're genuine Sanyo UR-Fs, $2.30 isn't an unreasonable price since they're only 2000mAh cells and not the latest and greatest.

I'd be more concerned about how old they are, wanting the date code and at what voltage they're being stored at.

Well you have to remember 2000mAh is pretty low today. I pulled 6 of these from my laptop I purchased sometime around 2008. Hopefully they are still manufacturing these, or else the "These batteries are in sealed factory cases." statement only means someone found an entire pallet hidden in a corner of a warehouse somewhere lost 5 years ago.

They are a surplus dealer. Pallet in a dark corner is not at all improbable. They are also a long time business and I have dealt with them before.

They have some CR123s and they explain where they came from and expiration dates.

Yes they are legit and genuine sanyo cells.

They once had sale - 10 pack for $17.5, so I bought 20 pcs total.

All are manufactured in 08/2004, have measured capacity around 1920-1960mah, voltages were around 3.6, and measured internal resistance, using LI-260 was around 80-90 "mR"

I have 18650 cells from Panasonic/Sanyo that i have since 2008. Their capacity still still between 1500~1700mah ( around that ). They are rated for max capacity of 2250mah. I believe these are Hybrid cells to. CGR18650CG.

But $2,30 for just a cell is cheap and i hope that they give the advertised capacity.

I posted these in another thread, but here they are again. Pulled from my ~2008 Sony Vaio laptop after about 5 years of use and 1 year of very little use.

Mine may be a little different with code UR18650FU (watch your language!)

Not that bad of capacity @Mark.
The current started to get down to 0.1a at 1400mah already and charge stopped at 1832mah this time. Minimum capacity is 2150mah. So about 78% of it's health left. Charged the cell at 500ma.
And the pack pcb said that it was worn down to 85~87%. PCB's Lie !

Your 18650 Cells are from Sanyo.
