NEW- KLARUS XT10 - XM-L U2 UPGRADE

I always thought the Klarus XT10, their first light in the XT series, had been discontinued shortly after the release of the XT11 which was supposed to be a replacement.

Instead, it apparently seems they have released an upgraded version of the XT10 with an XM-L U2 and 820 lumens output.

Why update an old light, when you've released a new version??

That's a good question. Possibly to have a similar light at a lower price point or because the XT10 kept selling well even after the XT11 had been launched!
Fenix manufactured and marketed both the TK11 and TK12 first and the TK11 and TK15 later even if the TK12/15 could have been considered an upgrade of the TK11.
It's also true that there are fewer differences between the the XT10 and XT11 than between those Fenix lights. Go figure!

Just picked up on this after browsing the klarus site. Xt10 original non flappy paddle switch in the pics and over 1000 lumens on the xm l2. Looks nice .
