HOW TO DISTINGUISH SUREFIRE M3LT 800 LUMEN AND 1000 LUMEN?

I PLANNED TO Purchase USED surefire m3 lt 1000 lumen
but seller told me there is no box...
so .. how can i recognize 1000 lumen and 800 lumen product??
please help me..

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe the information you want is on the bezel. I BELIEVE the original was a KX9T and the updated 1000 lumen version will read KX9T-C.

... not to be confused with my M3LT-S CombatLight's bezel's display of "KX9T-S" - where the "-S" indicates it has strobe capability, which, to me, is more useful than the extra 25% of illumination capability. Most people, myself included, can tell a doubling - or halving - of illumination - but not lesser amounts. If it's in great shape - and the price is right - sounds like a deal. BTW, my LB3T Invictus has no bezel markings other than the "Hot" caution. Nice flashlights!
