I'm looking to swap out my mini maglite with something brighter and more robust. The main constraint is that I need a unit with a barrel diameter that is equal to or less than the mml's .71 inches. I've been looking at the foursevens mini2a and eagletac's d25a2. I'd like to stick with the 2xaa format but could step down to 2xaaa if necessary. I use the light a fair amount, about 1/2 hour to an hour per day. Are there any options that I'm missing? Anything US made?
