Grease on thread and o-ring

Do you apply silicon grease on thread and o-ring like every six months? Is that the same silicon grease I can buy at the hobby store?

As needed. SuperLube from the hardware store is a CPF favorite.

Mute the video & no you don't need a paint brush. Just some Q-tips, Alcohol, and SuperLube.

I have recently got Nitecore SRT7. How can I clean the inner thread of a head? The black disk is in the way. Also, how can I take the o-rings out?

I work in an optical lab and that's what we use on the eyepiece threads of our Vertometers (RX verification tools). Never thought of using it on my lights for some reason. Great suggestion, thanks!
