I've seen a few questions about using LED flashlights for still photography. I thought some might like to see an example of how I use them in video production.
For this shoot I used two different flashlights to supplement my other lighting, mostly consisting of Mole Richardson LED fresnels and some Arri tungsten stuff. First, I used a Shadow VG-10 I got a while ago that has a 3000k 90+ cri XML2 that blends very well with tungsten fixures. I used it with a little diffusion on the lens as an eye light in any of the shots where you see a bright reflection in the eyes. The second light I used was a Zebralight SC62w for any of the shots with a strobing backlight.
can I post a YouTube link here? If not, go ahead and delete it. This is a music video for a guy named Mekka Don. The song is called 'Undisputed'.
