How to upgrade SF e2e and still have a clip?

I'm the original owner of an incandescent SureFire e2 executive and want to upgrade to a powerful LED and keep a clip of some sort.

I like the Malkoff conversion head but then I will lose the clip.

I have searched but can't seem to find a clip that would just fit between the head and body using a ring. Do these exist? If not, are there other vendors who could upgrade my existing head and still achieve performance similar to the Malkoff?

Contact Tana here in the CPF forums. He has several options available from a single LED emitter drop-in to triple emitter modifications.

Here is a thread with a drop in solution for you. You'll want to make sure he knows it is for an original teardrop bezel E series light. It is possible there might be minor dimensional changes required to the drop in.

Alternately, he can permanently alter your bezel to be super high output, but you'll lose the ability to use incan drop ins and will need to use special batteries that provide high amps.

Get the TANA drop in. His multi or single mode are 100% compatible with your teardrop head. And if you really want to stay nostalgic with that sweet SG E2e you might hold off a TANA and put up a WTB ad for a Veleno or KuKu. That would be awesome retro! But those drop in's usually come at a premium and not many want to part company with them if you could even find one.
