Any planned updates to Nitecore SRT series?

So I'm eyeballing the Nitecore SRT5 right now, and I was just wondering if anybody knew of any plans or rumors to make an update to this line of lights, as they're a couple of years old now.

Heard some rumblings on here about a planned upgrade this year which would make sense given that they last updated these in 2014 or 2013 with newer LED's. However I emailed them about this and they said there are currently no plans to upgrade the lineup. It could be a generic response or could indicate they're either planning something new or may be updating these later this year.. Hard to say though. I do have the SRT5 and love it.

It's tempting to pull the trigger on one now, but I'd be very upset if they get updated right after I do...
