Inova X1 1AA 1LED

I was wondering around in Frys today and found the Inova X1 in silver or black for $19.99.

I picked out a Silver one and brought it home.

I find it FAR too focused to be a task light. At 18" from the table top the beam is 3" with sharp edges. At 36" it's about 7" across. Around a fairly white spot is a rather blue ring surrounded by a darker ring.

It is quite bright enough out to 6-8 feet, falling off from there.

It seems to be built like a tank.

I'm not exactly sure why I got it (duh! - it's a flashlight!) or what I'm going to do with it.

I may edit this with pics tomorrow (but just as possibly may not).

You may want to do a forum search because there are a few good threads on the Inova X1. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif However, some of them may be rather old.

I tried the exact search "Inova X1" in this, the LED forum. The only thread I was referred to was the "Is the X5 bright enough?" thread.

There isn't any saying I wouldn't have bought it anyway, but at least I did check before I posted.

Entering "X-1" as the parameter, your results will be much better. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
