I just purchased an elzetta charlie, and noticed that under the lens, it appears like the side coating is missing or chipped off. Is this normal? <br />
If you slightly loosen the bezel, does the issue go away? If it doesn't, then you can remove the bezel and optic to see the holder, which can also be removed.
My guess is that you are seeing contact between the optic and holder, which will have no impact.
