Streamlight Strion HL vs ProTac HL

I own Nitecores, Fenix products, and an Eagletac. My only Streamlight is the Strion HL and I absolutely love it. I don't know what it is about this light, but it just feels way more substantial in quality compared to my other lights, which would explain the hefty price tag for a 500 lumen flashlight. It has inspired me to look into Streamlight products some more so long story short, I have a ProTac HL on the way, and I was hoping if anyone can shine some light on how the ProTac HL compares to the Strion HL? And also, why is it that SureFire gets a lot of talk on here over Streamlight? Are SureFires really that much better? I've heard a lot of people who prefer the ProTac HL over the P2X Fury. Not trying to start a debate, but why isn't there as much love on here over Streamlight products?

Yeah that's just about all I hear when I ask people about Streamlights.

You certainly won't get any negative feed back from police officers. The streamlight is BY FAR the #1 choice among police officers. And they bang up their lights quite a bit.

I'd pick the HL.
