Has anyone ever purchased this light? Any experiences good or bad? Looking to give it as a gift to someone for walking their dog and some everyday use.

Use mine now and then. Did a review on the light, which you can find in the review section

I use mine some, it mainly sits in my nightstand drawer. The original M18 striker is a bit better imo. Smaller and less modes. Who needs super low lumens on a tac light anyway. Most of us run multi aaa lights for that.
