Surefire Kl4 Modding Help

Hello all; first post, I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction on a certain issue. I have owned a Surefire L4 for quite some time (third generation KL4, serial prefix "C"); although it currently suffices for most tasks, I was looking to upgrade the LED, and potentially the driver, (if necessary) as well. I'm new to any sort of flashlight modification, so please forgive me if I come off as ignorant. I was hoping to replace the standard SSC P4 emitter with something a bit more powerful, preferably a Cree XP-G2, while keeping the stock driver, though like I stated earlier, I'm willing to replace that too if necessary. Any input on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
