Hello to all

I have recently purchased a Acebeam k40m from a online retailer The outdoor-gear-store-com. Torch looks and works great but when I looked at reflector when on from side view it looked different. See pics. Hard to describe. Reflector looks clean and smooth when turned off but once on it sames to be coated in a scum with spots. Have not seen this in my other torches. Would like to know if anyone else has seen this problem and what to do about it.

Have used torch a few times outside. Don't think it is moisture as it never changes. All replies welcome.

What you are seeing is a combination of dust on the lens and reflector as well as moisture/condensation inside the light.

Remove the batteries and place a silica gel pack inside for a day or two to remove the effect.

Didn't have any silica packs but I removed top lens reflector assembly. I placed in the hotpress over night. Put back together today and still exactly the same. I would have expected some change if it was a moisture problem.
