I was wondering if it would be ok if I ran 3 rcr123a's in my olight m3x triton, would it be safe? Like would it be to much volts in it? And I would be using 3 nitecore nl166. Thanks.

It claims cr123x4 with the extender tube. 3v x 4 = 12v.

RCR123 4.2v x 3 = 12.6v.

Hmmm.... maybe? I wouldn't be the first one to try it.

The 3 rcr i have are 3.7v so max would be 11.1v so it should be ok right?

The charge terminates at 4.2v, so 12.6 would be right.

I have no idea whether that would be OK for a 12v nominal light, by the way! I suspect it is but don't act on my hunch!
