    PK,

You did a very nice job on this light, most creative work with the bezel and the clip and all the color options. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the line. When I get back off the road, I will be ordering a polished Titanium.

Congratulations to you and David, I have real respect for the innovation involved here.

    Best wishes,

I have one more "gold" left but the lens is cracked :/

I might have abused it too much.

Have just put in an order for one (Ok, two...) of these, and my mind naturally looks down the track to maintainence/cleaning. I know the Tact-o-click tailcap isn't supposed to be easily removable, but can anyone (PK or anyone who's tried) comment on whether or not it's at all possible to remove them from the inside of the light (eg by unlatching something, etc) to clean the threads or apply grease? I know PK mentioned Nygel but I was hoping to apply some Nye high-friction grease to the threads to avoid accidental activation of the tailcap when clipped to my pants.

Just ordered the Al version to try out out before ordering a Ti. Plus the Al will be lighter to clip on the bill of my cap. Foursevens has been hitting my pocket hard lately, but looking forward to getting my hands on their cool new gear!

These lights look like a great addition to the FourSevens product line. While, not for me, I see these selling very well!

    Congratulations on another fine addition!

I have to say, at first I was a little unsure of these but in hand they are outstanding. PK and 47s have done a masterful job.

I just watched the Four Sevens You Tube video on the PK series new product intro and think it is an amazing engineering job. Overall an awesome design and execution....way to go Four Sevens!
I had recently purchased an Olight S1 Baton and did not find the side switch location to my liking. I then lost it so the PK Knight in black Aluminum looks to be it's replacement that will be sitting under my Holiday tree.

Why would they use a reflector and not a TIR lens in the Knight series..??
The Olight S1 baton is almost the same size but with a TIR lens in it,
I haven't got the chance to compare both beamprofiles yet though.

First post on CPF! My first nice flashlight was a Quark Pro QP2L-X, which served me nicely for a couple of years. I later got the burst mode version of the same light along with a CR123A Atom. The Quark Clicks disappointed me a little so I started looking at other brands and picked up an Olight S30ti, my first titanium flashlight and first 18650 light.

The Paladin brought me back to FourSevens, and it's my second CR123A light. Dang this thing is small for having a reflector and sort-of-clicky switch! I had the atom, which was neat because of how small it was, but I missed one-handed operation. The tact-o-click switch is very neat; I think the name is a little gimmicky and weird sounding, but the actual switch and concept are pretty solid and a great compromise for switching (ha!) between momentary and constant on. And the machined switch cap looks so dang cool. I really like this light so far except for one thing- screwing the head onto the body (I keep loosening the strike bezel in its "hidden" mount configuration while trying to tighten the head).

I've got a question about the Knight/Paladin lights though; does anyone know if they're water resistant? I don't see any mention of it anywhere, so I assume they're not.

You hit upon the single annoying thing about the PKs. I have the same problem and the dilemma for me is do I remove the bezel, which actually looks awesome on the neck, or do I go for the convenience of unencumbered battery replacement? I don't expect to be switching batteries very often so the bezel stays!

The strike bezel does look very cool mounted in the body of the flashlight, though some people may think it makes the light look too busy. Although I've got the polished Ti Paladin, the black Knight looks great to me too. It seems like something Batman would carry (at least, the armored Nolan version of Batman).

I preordered a Knight wrote I and a blue ti Paladin. The Paladin is still in the packaging as it is more of a collectable to me. I have been playing with the Knight for the past week and a half. This is one nice light. I still can't get over how small it is! The tailswitch is a nice piece of engineering and the default modes are at the right levels. I find that I never bother with the hidden modes, 25/450 lumens are all I really need. Although around the house at night I switch to a light with moonlight. My primary use for the Knight is with dress clothes since it is so tiny. The Knight is a great light. The combination of size, runtime, and output are as good as it gets. Well done! I have been a Foursevens fan for a long time but have been wondering what has been going on for the last couple of years. It's great to see some real innovation again with the new lights.

Is there a way to keep the clip attached without the strike bezel? I need the clip for lanyard attachment and find the bezel interfering with turning on the light as well as battery replacement.

The plain front bezel fits in place of the strike bezel on the body to hold the clip in place. If you also want a plain bezel on the front, you can buy them separately. I have been contemplating a standard Knight model with the plain bezel on the body and a titanium accessory bezel on the front to protect the lens in a fall. Not fond of the strike bezel in either position.

I found the front bezel in the package and will do just that. I think I'll pick up a Ti bezel and add it to the front, too.
    Thanks, Hondo.

Second-ing gundamaniac's question about water resistence. Can anyone from the company chime in regarding any water resistance rating for the Paladin/Knights?
