New flashlights at the "orange" DIY store

Stopped by a local HD yesterday and saw a new crop of LED flashlights in the holiday bargain area. Among them was a 3-LELD 1000 lumen Defiant as well as at least one focusable light. I almost picked up the 3-LED Defiant but my existing Defiant from the other year is still quite adequate. Wondering what the throw and tint are on this one.

I started to buy a defiant (at HD recently) that was about the size and weight of a 6p.
Then I noticed it's a multi function hi/lo/strober.

Got too many of that type already.

So I put it back and bought another mini-mag instead.

just avoid Utilitechs. Defiants are actually pretty solid.
