I am a newbie to the forum and to fancy pants lights in general, but im hoping for some input on a flashlight project.
I want to make a light, and i have a few parameters to work with:
single AA battery
Clicky on/off tail switch, no strobe, no high/low, no blinking, no whistle, just on and off, if i can have momentary on by slight depression of the switch, that would be nice.

i have an old fenix e11 that is perfect for me, its not even the newer, now discontinued one, mine looks like this:
its a good brightness for my life, and a good size. the only change i am likely to make is to add a tail stand feature
im planning to use copper, with all the machining pitfalls that entails. Im looking to source the necessary parts to make it work, the switch, the reflector and pill?
my stunted research always ends in things that wont work with 1x AA or things with too many settings.
can anyone give me any suggestions?
