Hello,

I am looking for a flashlight for tactical work. Like many here, I have many flashlights. This one is needed to fit a specific need. I need a light that is around 12-13" in length.

3 x 18650 or 26650 in series (need the length).
Side switch that supports momentary on/off.

I found this:

Review:
http://budgetlightforum.com/node/21248

The side switch operation is unclear. It seems to be on, [different brightness], off. No mentions of momentary.

And this:
https://shop.monsterflashlight.com/...tar-cree-3xu2-3300-lumens-max-5-mode/#reviews
Again, side switch operation is unclear.
It looked like re-branded Chinese, research seemed to confirm.

Does anyone know of any lights out there that fit the bill?

Many thanks.

Off the top of my head, You could probably have a Maglite custom set up for this with a momentary tail switch and some sleeves to house two 26650's?

Budget?
Desired use? or Desired usage goal?

I have both a Mag rechargable and Mag D, as well as the TerraLux LED for the Mag Charger, but have not seen the custom setups. I was hoping to reduce the weight a little by going with 18650/26650 setup. I don't need a tail switch for a light this size. I do need momentary on/off. Ideally, a full press turns the light on, another full press turns the light off. Modes are fine so long as they do not interfere with the momentary on/off or full on/off function.

Eagletac MX30L3 (I think I got all the letters in there) has side buttons, with click for on/off and momentary. i like mine, but it is not a budget light.

Where'd you get it? Have you found any reviews for it before you got it?
The only reviews I found were in German.
I've got it on my wishlist, but really hoping to find a deal somewhere for it.

Thanks, but I need the light to be at least 12" long and the batteries in series. In case anyone wonder why, it needs to sit inside a sap pocket (which is 11" deep).
