Have a Question? Which is brighter?

So the other day I found a UV led flashlight pen, it had a single LED and seemed to be very bright

I lost it
and

I got a UV 51 led flashlight, this doesnt seem so bright

can someone explain to me why the flashlight with more leds would be less bright?

how can I tell what the brighter flashlight will be? Thankls

Think I'll avoid this one.

Now it could be as simple as the batteries... your newest item may have weak batteries.
Or it could be one had a brighter emitter than say the multi led light.
