I'm wondering if this is designed as a crap hits the fan light for minimal lighting over a long period of time. If so, I'd rather swim in the power outage thread, but I'm tempted.

I'm surprised they don't mention lithium primaries. I assume that any light that'll run on AAA will be fine with L92s?

Gosh I don't know about that. I don't have an AAA Glo Toob but the one I do own looks nearly indestructible. Not so sure this Fenix could take 200 feet of water or a serious beating. Granted I am only waterproof up to my nose but still not sure it's a killer of that gear item.
