Quite addictive to S1 Olight

Recently I bought my first aluminum S1, then aTi, today I received the copper versions. The natural copper one was very impressive. It was packed in a sealed wrapper so it stays natural. Looking forward for the development of the patina. The PVD or coated version seems to be made of brass , of course I could be wrong.
All in all, I am a happy customer so far

They are beautiful lights. I plan on getting all the variants of this light.

Nice collection, i really like the Ti polished and the rose gold copper.

The red copper is definitely solid copper and it is very heavy, but the coated one I think it's plated, I could be wrong though

Imo the S1 is at acceptable price for EDC, won't feel any pain or guilt if I dropped/scratched it, won't harm if I let someone to use it and dropped it on concrete floor( years ago I EDC my earth color HDS and let somebody to drop and chip the coating....) . I haven't bought any Olight before, but once i got the S1 a month ago, I started to get some more. At this moment, I think I have 2 S10, 2 S15, 4 S1, and a Ti S30.

What an exciting post,a good + for the S1.

Already have the vanilla black version and been very impressed with it so far. Great little light, well made and ok you're never going to get long runtimes or long distances but it's not designed for that. It's weight is negligible, it's powerful enough for short distances and (so far) it's being reliable, what more do you want in an everyday carry ?

I'm definitely going to get the Ti version when I see it available in Europe ( or any group buy ... :naughty: )

P.S. only point I'd make and it is an observation rather than a criticism, is that I'd love a beacon mode on it

I've bought 7 aluminum (for wife, 3 cars, 2 friends and first version memory fire fly for me), polished titanium and I'm waiting for my raw copper but I'm not addicted.

And the wife put tritium in her's.

Did you pick these up locally in Hong Kong? If so could you tell me where? Last time I was at Ap Liu street they didn't have the Ti version yet

Negative. I bought via Taobao. Ap Liu Street is not as good as it used to be.
