Change to CRI standard

Not sure if this has been discussed before, but it looks like there will be an upcoming change to the CRI standard, which was last changed in the 1970s. The following link has more information.

Sounds like the CRI is getting some much needed upgrades. It'll be interesting to see how it shakes out.

Will this change our perceptions of existing CRI factors?
(I mean will 85% change to 80% or 88% ?)
