and fixed it up. The pieces were carefully put back together, but I would say it's a tad on the fragile side. has worked ever since I fixed it, but I wouldn't want to rough and tumble it...
the magnetic ends no longer worked, so I replaced with flat ends inside the twist tube as shown. AA or AAA fits inside the tube.

-Duracell take 2xAA. head telescopes out to become a lantern of sorts.
-Energizer takes 2xAA. has (5) 5mm leds. has yellowish corona with blue/purple hot spot.
-Performance Tool Charger. Uses a AA. has a charger hole in center of head for micro USB charge as seen.
If you unplug the charger wire, then there are (2) 5mm leds that will light up.
-Menards home center light takes 2xAA. 1 watt LED. Wood around aluminum core.

Very well built, as you can see from the marks, it's take a few spills while in use,
Triple Nichia 219 emitters. Take 18350 battery. McClicky installed in tail, Ti clip. I re-profiled the clip, and swapped in Brass clip screws...

What's left of a lot I picked up some time ago. lots of little wires and lots of leds on boards, etc...
mostly old school LEDs. don't remember what there were.
The little silver bagged ones look like they are mostly XML, but there is one Nichia 219A, and some other oddballs.
some are previouls installed ones that were removed for an upgrade.
not sure how hard it would be to find drivers for these to use. fun to play around with.
I turned a few a nice angry blue before they went dark while trying to fix a burnout D26 dropin
(those dead ones are not included)
