Alan, is the lens in the Arc4+ changeable? Actually is it user changeable?

The UCL will provide more light than what peter has already used? Do we know by how much etc?

cue003,

Given that UCL will let 99% of the light through, I think it will provide more light than the stock ARC4+ lens.

Good deal...hope there will be a UCL available then.....I would also have to find a spanner wrench somewhere so I can install the lens when/if it becomes available. Or maybe one of the fine members here can provide some very DETAILED instructions with pics when the time comes.

If I'm not mistaken, the UCL lens is much more fragile than the lexan cover that rests over the NX05 optics now. The Arc4 is a workhorse. I'm not so sure I'd want to risk putting something like a UCL lens in there.

I agree with nascar. I also believe that the Lexan is thicker than the UCL lens which may make a differance.
