I asked Chris at www.flashlightlens.com if he's got UCL for ARC4+ yesterday. He told me he would need some measurements for the lens. Could someone with ARC4+ contact Chris at [email protected]?

cue003, last I heard, it is user changeable. The only qualification is that you need a spanner wrench to access it.
Good deal...hope there will be a UCL available then.....I would also have to find a spanner wrench somewhere so I can install the lens when/if it becomes available. Or maybe one of the fine members here can provide some very DETAILED instructions with pics when the time comes.

If I'm not mistaken, the UCL lens is much more fragile than the lexan cover that rests over the NX05 optics now. The Arc4 is a workhorse. I'm not so sure I'd want to risk putting something like a UCL lens in there.

I agree with nascar. I also believe that the Lexan is thicker than the UCL lens which may make a differance.
