Yak Trax work good on rough ice.. but i find they aren't so hot on smooth packed ice..
i know nothing short of crampons that work on completely smooth ice..

Edit:
i have the walkers tho, not the Pro model..

Look for the kind that use the same sort of spikes as used on hiking staves. They work great on ice (which is what they are for). It takes a bit to get used to walking with them on, cause your legs sure will know it! (first hand experience)

Here is the steel cane spike attachment that I mentioned in other topic(s). Fits on a standard cane, and this is the only place I have seen them.
