Received it as a gift. My other flashlights have 2 buttons. One for on/off or momentary press and the 2nd one to advance the mode between low/med/high.
I've gotten used to pulsing the momentary on/off or doing whatever. Never really paid much attention to how often I pulse or how long I wait betw pulses, etc.
With the MMR-X I keep accidentally advancing it to the next level. Momentary press -> off -> momentary press again within 1-2 seconds advances it to the next light level. Rather annoying.
Is this how all "single button" flashlights behave? Or just something unique to FourSevens?
My natural instinct was quick full clicks to advance mode and "do nothing" when quick "momentary press". But that was just my instinct, doesn't mean they build them that way LOL.
