What's the tool name and where can I buy a quality level tool?

Again, when I was active with collecting and doing minor "repairs", I had a tool which had two tines or points which could be adjusted in width to fit the wholes in the retaining rings for the light engine and tail. I use needle-nose pliers now but they just don't seem to work as well.

Snap ring pliers work, but a trammel tool works better.

What kind of level tool are you looking for? Bubble or laser?

Bubble is good for leveling a machine or counter top. The laser level works good for making forms or aligning picture frames if you have a number of pictures you want the same height.
