Hi everyone, i was lucky enough to purchase a Jetbeam TCR20, cosmetically and quality wise I think it's an amazing light but I do notice the magnetic control ring has a slightly gritty feel. now when my Jetbeam rrt0 developed a gritty feel I would drip oil down the slight opening and wipe away the excess, the oil was able to both lubricate and wash away the grey material in the control ring. The RRT0 's control ring is now even smoother than it was out of the box. I tried the same thing with the TCR20 but no go, it actually got a little worse, I'm not sure why. So now I'm here looking for suggestions on how to fix or lubricate it properly, is this normal for a titanium magnetic control rings ? ( I read somewhere that Titanium would be less smooth than aluminium ) Should I try pushing grease in or graphite powder? Any suggestions would be most welcome : )
