After charging my Nitecore has a problem. It only works when I hold the button down.
Is there some some sort of reset?

Look inside the tailcap and see if the ring retaining the switch is tight.
Does the switch blink to indicate battery power when inserting a battery?
If no click It sounds like the switch is either lose or defective.

Yes, I have a pair of tweezers that I use to screw in the aluminum switch retainer in the tailcap. I part the tweezers and put the tips into the holes, then turn them clockwise until it tightens. If this doesn't work, you can get an improved tailcap at Amazon for less than ten bucks.

Do let us know if this fixes your problem.

also take some rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip and go over all the contact points once youve made sure the switch is tight.
