Hello. I have to choose between two drivers:

QLite 3.04 Amps and modes are as following: 100%-25%-2%-5mA (1220 lumens-305 lumens-31 lumens-2,5 lumens) price - 4.11 dollars

Nanjg 105c Amc7135*8 2.8 Amps and modes are as following: 100%-40%-5% (1140 lumens-460 lumens-55lumens) price - 2.78 dollars

My question is - which driver has better mode spacing: useability, energy saving, considering that it will be mostly used on medium, because of heat. Also price comes into consideration.

Honestly I don't care for either one of those. The first one has a pretty big jump from 25% to 100% and nothing in between, but it does have a pretty good lowest mode (although I prefer most of my lights to start out even lower than that). The second one has better spacing but starts off way too bright. There's really no low mode there to speak of.

So if it were me and I had to choose one of these, it would be the first one for its much lower low mode. But what I'd really do is order a Qlite from mtnelectronics with guppydrv flashed on it.
