well ya but thats 1 led and modded. idk if a stock light running 3 leds will go anymore then 500 lumens with 10440. of course modded lights can draw power better.

Well, that wasn't your question. Way to move the goal posts!
You have a high enough post count, I figured you were probably already aware of Vinh's lights, so I knew the answer wouldn't surprise you. Here's another answer that shouldn't surprise you, still a single emitter, but not a mod: TnC Nano-Lux, also TnC Micro-Lux

The unit produces about 750+ lumens

By owners' reports here on CPF, this is a conservative estimate.

is this particular light pushing 800 lumens off a single 10440? I seriously doubt it....

Yeah, me too. I think now I see OP's point, not that it isn't possible, just that it isn't true.

I dident word my op the best i kinda rushed it. The point i was trying to Make was that if the 16340 version of this light cant hit the stated 1000 lumens i dont think this one will hit 800 lumens. Also run time is going to be just a few minutes at most on max. Not very practical. I would love a 18350 version of this light tho.

This light needs a 18350/18650 tube option. Lesser batteries just can't push the claimed output. Looking at HKJ's test 10440 batteries at 3 amps have a capacity of 180-105mah. So what are we really looking at a few minutes of light.

They have that. It's the PT18.

thanks for chiming in Marshall! Its about time the rest of the PT series became available the PT18 looks pretty good and the price is good as well. Noticed that under "meters" on the GG PT18 page instead of a range it just says "no" LOL! Love the XPG2 though...
