Secondary 1K lm light application

Might sound stupid, but noticed a secondary 1K lm application: all those lights are a decent hand warmer :) Major effect comes from the beam itself. A little bonus for those that live in cold climate :) The same way may be used on frozen car door locks.

Wonder how much energy falls into IR wave lengths?

Not stupid at all and I have indeed warmed up frozen locks with my old PD35. Not much falls into the IR range though unless you get a IR light specifically.

2nd that, ive had cold hands in daylight and maxed out a small 1000lm light to warm them up. My armytek prime is pretty good. It dosnt even step down and it really does get too hot to hold.
