I was going to wait for the next batch of K50vn V3 but i decided the heck with it and bought it. Damn good thing i did because Acebeam discontinued it, They are going to use the k70 for the xhp35. I like the k50 v3 look more!!! I love this light. Its so bright and yet the hotspot is super focused and tight. Amazing for an Led as large as this. Even thought my xpg2 m25c2vnT out throws it, its not that much more and the whiter color and hotspot thats 4 times as large really makes the m25c2vnt look weak. You realize how pencil beam that light really is. The k50vn V3 can light up what ever that light can and it lights up the area much larger allowing you to see more detail. so even tho the intensity is slightly less at say 1000 feet the much larger hotspot lights up much more of the area so its kinda compensates for the slightly less throw and imo looks way more impressive !!!

Now even tho mine is modded stock is still pretty close to this because Vinh did no current boost in this light as its already driven very hard at 2300 OTF. Stock throw rating is 422kcd and Vinhs modded one is 535kcd. He refocused the led and added a copper heatsink. I even think the stock claim is a bit low. This lights a real beast. Also is reality the k50vn V3 is a little higher then 535kcd as Vinh measures throw low on purpose. For example this light out throws his tk61vn. Selfbuilt measured that light at 600kcd. With vinhs new adjusted throw numbers he measured 452kcd for the tk61vn and 535kcd with this light. I think selfbuilts numbers are very close to reality so with that i think if selfbuilt were to measure it he would get over 650kcd.

BEAMSHOTS
I am going to break them down into groups just to make it easier to follow. I got a few different Perspectives. Hopefully it shows how impressive the K50vn V3 really is:devil:

Awesome beam pics Alex, that is a pretty much perfect light imo, awesome throw with plenty of light OTF. I hate pencil beams tbh, I like some usable spill which is useful(to me). Do like acebeam a lot, like their control ring UI as well.

Congrats:)

Thanks guys. Yes this light is crazy focused but still has a wide enough beam to avoild pencil beams

Nice thread and beamshots, Alex1234. My original K50vn still performs well and I really like the convenience of the in-light charging.
